WHAT MAKES OLIVEDA UNIQUE

The brand that is changing my skin when nothing else would. I truly believe that healing starts from within — and Olive Tree People (OTP) begins there. Oliveda is a branch of OTP, a holistic and waterless beauty brand that originated in Europe and is located in Germany, founded by Thomas Lommel. They use the olive leaf extract from mountain olive trees in their products, creating powerful results for their customers. There are so many components that make up skin health — internal and external. Factors like toxicity, pathogens, fungal issues, gut health, nutrient intake, sleep, morning sunlight exposure, circadian rhythm, drainage pathways, lymphatic movement, emotional health, toxic skincare products, pore-clogging ingredients, and overall internal terrain contribute to how healthy your skin is going to be. Acne and premature aging are the two primary skin concerns I see in my practice, but I can help with that! Whether through root cause coaching or just skincare help, I got you. I ALWAYS look at a person's lifestyle habits and current skin state before recommending products, especially internal skincare supplements.

 

It's important to look at your entire lifestyle as a whole, but toxic skincare products is something I love talking about specifically. Skin "care" is not just about what you put on your skin, which is something Oliveda does so well when it comes to safety, effectiveness, and overall health in a holistic manner. With the increasing trends around skincare, especially with the younger generation in the age of social media, I am on a mission to educate people about the importance of creating positive lifestyle habits and using clean, effective skincare that will make your skin glow from the inside out.

Hydroxytyrosol

Olive Tree People uses an organic, bioactive beauty elixir instead of water in their products, called HYDROXYTYROSOL. It's the magic ingredient that's changing people's skin from the inside out and healing the skin barrier. I've never seen anything like it — and of course it comes from Europe! Skincare in the US typically contains ~70% water (approximately), diluting the product and resulting in a need for more fillers and preservatives. Oliveda is on a mission to change that by using more ACTIVE ingredients that use nature to heal the skin and results in less need for makeup.

 

Oliveda's safety regulations and testing process are immaculate, and I trust their standards completely. Europe typically has way better safety standards in place than we do here in the US.

The Founder

The founder of Olive Tree People is Thomas Lommel. He created this brand in Europe around TWENTY years ago because of his health issues. When he found the olive leaf extract, his health drastically improved, and he's been on a mission to help people's skin conditions heal ever since. He is truly the sweetest, most humble man and wants to be a part of everything going on. He puts people first, and I've never seen a founder be so involved and proud of their work. Truly grateful for Thomas leading the way with this mission and the values that lay the foundation.

MAKEUP COMING OCTOBER 2024

Olive Rose makeup coming this fall! A "no-makeup makeup" line created by Thomas Lommel's daughter.

This is huge for the cosmetic industry because it's going to be the first makeup line in the entire WORLD that uses hydroxytyrosol. It is going to be a very simple makeup line based on the idea of "skincare before makeup." I'm so excited for this launch because I'm always looking for simple makeup items to add to my routine that are clean, effective, tested for toxins, and leave a natural finish on your skin. Hydroxytyrosol and arbequina oil, two key ingredients in Oliveda's skincare line, are both going to give the makeup products a unique touch and support the skin barrier while it's healing as well. Olive Rose will be a fantastic line on its own or a great addition to any makeup routine.
